Water usage and irrigation systems are essential elements in agriculture and agribusiness and figure in many Promar Consulting projects. Promar Consulting is also the home of the Asian Water and Resources Institute (AWARI), a non-profit research group that consults on major water, resources and environmental issues in Asia.  We have recently:

• Studied the water pricing systems of Korea and Japan for the OECD.
• Investigated the French system for categorizing and controlling the safety of natural mineral water sources, for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
• Analyzed the continue effectiveness of water dam projects completed 30 years ago in Laos and in Indonesia by the Japan Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
