Studying the processing, packaging and distribution of products is an important part of many Promar projects. It often requires extensive interviewing with producers, importers, processors, and distributors to be able to document and analyze the entire chain. We have:

• Studied the fish processing sectors of China, Thailand and Vietnam to understand their position in receiving fish from worldwide sources, processing it, then redistributing it to other world markets for consumption.
• Conducted a thorough analysis of the Japanese agrochemical distribution system and recommended strategic changes in the client’s own distribution policies and procedures in order to increase its market share.
• Analyzed the flour-based coatings industries in the US and Europe to determine how they were distributed and what companies might be potential partners for our client.
